  • There are loads of private coaches around, so why should I choose you?
You are right. There is a lot out there. You should choose us because we can provide the personalised coaching that you need to make it to the highest levels. All our coaches are professional coaches who have a passion for the game and have put in the hours over the last few years to become great coaches . They will work with you on your training and coaching plan so you are fully aware of what is required of you and what the goal of everything we are doing. We are stepping away from the "copy & paste" coaching methods and never ending throwdowns.
  • Who are your coaches?
Under the About tab you can find descriptions on our coaches. But briefly, we are lucky to have the coaches we have. They are very talented and experienced coaches. They are professional coaches who coach day in and day out. Sure they have the qualifications to back it up but most importantly they have the skills to get you to where you need to be to succeed.
  • Do I need to do the New Player assessment?
Yes, it is a requirement that all new players undertake this session. This is so we can match you to the perfect coach and provide you with a plan and a structure to give you the best chance to succeed. This session will include video analysis, and skill assessments, not to rank you but to get an understanding of you as a player.
  • Why do I get matched with a specific coach?
Our coaches can coach all aspects of cricket to a high standard and have been for years. In saying that, some of our coaches specialise in certain areas. Either through their own playing styles, research or passion. We also match the players with coaches who we think would benefit from the way in which each coach "coaches".
  • What technology do you use?
We use a variety of modern technology to make every session enjoyable and productive. Our coaches are trained in FullTrack AI, OnPoint and LUDIMOS. We also utilise speed guns, bowling machines and are always looking into other tech we can use.
  • Who can join the Academy?
If you are a boy or girl between 11-17yrs old you can come and trial!
  • How do I join?
We run trials in the school holidays prior to each term. There is also the opportunity to trial mid term by attending one of our sessions. This is approved case by case and must be pre approved.
  • What will the structure of the Academy be?
The academy has been designed by Neil D'Costa who will be the head coach of the academy. The Academy is designed to run across the year. Split into the 4 school terms. Each term will have 10 sessions. The sessions will run every Monday afternoon. The sessions will be split up by age group. 11-13 & 14-17. You may be moved up an age group at the discretion of the coaching staff. Each session may vary in structure however there will be specialist batting, fast & spin bowling coaches in attendance at each session.
